Known for their efficient algae-eating prowess, they keep your tank sparkling clean while adding a touch of beauty to your aquatic world. Easy to care for and captivating to watch, these Pink Ramshorn Snails are the perfect eco-friendly addition to your aquatic community!

Every animal we ship out has been bred in house in our dedicated aquarium space right here in the rural South West of the England. They typically shipped out when they are around 10mm and will continue to grow up to around 25mm (1 inch) in size in your care!

They will primarily feed themselves on algae, decaying plants, uneaten fish food, and organic debris. However, you can supplement their diet with blanched vegetables like broccoli, spinach, or sinking algae wafers.

Tank Requirements:

Size: For a small population 5-gallon can be sufficient but for larger populations we would recommend at least a 10-gallon tank.

Temperature: Ideally the water would be around 18°C to 28°C (65°F to 82°F)

Parameters: They are adaptable but do prefer stable water conditions. With a pH level of between 7.0 and 8.0; Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate levels should be minimal and hardness of around 5 to 15 dGH.

Substrate: They are versatile and can live on various substrates, but prefer soft substrates like sand or fine gravel, as it’s easier for them to move and burrow.

Tank mates: They are compatible with most peaceful fish such as guppies, tetras, and similar small, non-aggressive species. However, avoid them with aggressive or predatory fish that may harm or eat the snails. They themselves are non-aggressive and pose no threat to other tank inhabitants.
